TUDEC DEVELOPMENT CENTRE(TUDEC), a non-profit organization, has distributed cow meat to thousands of Ghanaians as part of its social corporate responsibility and yearly humanitarian work.

It is a practice of Muslims across the globe to show compassion and good neighbourliness by slaughtering cows during the month of Eid. The festival ensures that even those who cannot afford meat get plenty of it at least once a year.

Over the years, TUDEC has engaged in various humanitarian activities across the country. The Association is said to be built on the principle of love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence.

This year, the meat was shared in collaboration with Time To Help e.V, a non-profit organization based in Germany.

The Association slaughtered over 480 cows. The slaughtering was not only limited to Accra but extended to Kumasi, Cape Coast, Tamale and its surroundings.

The recipients of the meat expressed their appreciation to TUDEC and their partners for their yearly support to the needy irrespective of religion.
