TUDEC Hosts 11th Edition of Dialogue and Peace Iftar Dinner

The 11th edition of TUDEC’s Dialogue and Peace Iftar Dinner was successfully held on Thursday, 6th April 2023. This annual event brought together individuals from diverse religious and social backgrounds to share a meal, engage in dialogue, and reflect on the importance of peaceful coexistence in society.
The programme was organised in collaboration with the National Peace Council, reaffirming a shared commitment to promoting harmony, tolerance, and mutual understanding across communities.
Promoting Peace Through Dialogue
The Dialogue and Peace Iftar Dinner continues to serve as an important platform for fostering interfaith engagement and national cohesion. Through reflection and interaction, participants explored ways to strengthen peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility in maintaining social stability.
Recognition of Peace Advocates
As part of this year’s programme, eight individuals were recognised for their outstanding contributions to the promotion and maintenance of peace within their respective fields of work.
Among the award recipients was Mrs. Adelaide Anno-Kumi, Chief Director at the Ministry of Interior. In her remarks, Mrs. Anno-Kumi expressed gratitude to the organisers for the recognition and reaffirmed the Ministry’s continued commitment to ensuring peace and stability in Ghana.
